Stressing key concepts such as organization, time management, routines, and promotion (among others) this book presents time tested and powerful tips and strategies to help the entrepreneur or business professional. Well done at five stars.

I'm sure you've seen all those advertisements for starting your own business at home. I never knew the first thing about getting started and actually never thought I could be a salesperson. This informative book helped me understand it's not as overwhelming as I thought it would be. The book discusses how to set goals, business techniques successful entrepreneurs use, how to think like a buyer, and business ethics. Very informative!

Randel addresses the benefits of becoming an entrepreneur and of establishing realistic goals, and of measuring success. He goes on to talk about the importance of making a customer worksheet, getting referrals, business techniques and strategies, and developing entrepreneurial skills.
I found the way Jim frequently recapped the material already presented made good use of an important learning tool - review. It helped me retain and assimilate more material as I moved through the book as well as understand the importance of building on information already presented.
Jim emphasized the importance of listening, of determining the customers touch point, the ethic of sales, and the value of persistence. The book includes quotes from well known leaders as well as a well balanced bibliography for future study.
